Newport Minerals Thailand Limited is a Thai company and was established for the specific purpose of incorporating its headquarters and securing the company’s first iron ore project in Thailand. Newport’s project team includes directors and consultants with strong technical skills and the relevant experience in mineral projects in Thailand and abroad. This highly accomplished team is solely focused on the development and delivery of the company’s first project by 2022.
Nartsin Pimton
Director
Nartsin is a Thai national and shareholder in Newport. He has over twenty years’ experience in shipping, previously holding senior management positions for successful regional shipping and logistics companies.
Nartsin has accomplished mineral ore start-ups and is currently a stakeholder in other producing mineral projects in Thailand. Nartsin is experienced in mineral licensing and landholder resource & title agreements. Nartsin is a key member of Newport’s operational management and responsible for its community & landholder relations, licensing and compliance.
Matthew Alsford
Director
Matthew is experienced in the resources sector, he was previously a director and shareholder of other private and public exploration companies in Papua New Guinea and Australia such as Newport Holdings Limited and Larus Energy Limited. These companies held significant oil and gas exploration licenses. Matthew has substantial experience in acquiring resource licenses, capital raising, landholder structures, exploration and corporate & tenement compliance.
Grp.Capt. Padung Saensuk
Country Manager/Advisory Board
Group Captain Padung is a retired career Thai military officer, he is a shareholder in Newport and key member of the management team. He has experience in establishing iron ore projects in Thailand and he is currently a stakeholder in other producing mineral projects in the region. He is instrumental in the development and maintenance of the company’s successful community and government relations.
Richard Sealy
Consultant
Richard consults to Newport drawing upon his vast experience in the mining sector. More recently, Richard was Managing Director of East Coast Minerals Limited, CEO and director of Artemis Resources Limited and General Manager and director of Apollo Minerals Limited (all ASX listed companies). Richard’s managed and/or floated a number of publicly listed mining and oil and gas companies including Mineral Resources Limited, Oil Fields NL and United Resources Investment Holdings Limited that are now major producers of gold and/or oil and gas.
Richard, who resides in Thailand, brings a wealth of international experience to the Company in the management of mineral exploration activities, fund raising, finance, and nearly 30 years of listed public company directorship experience and disciplines.
